Continental Resources and NEXVU Technologies Team Up to Help Companies Improve Application Performance
Posted on: Monday, 24 May 2004, 06:00 CDT
NEXVU Technologies announced today a partnership with Continental Resources, a major U.S. systems integrator, to help companies improve business performance through the use of application performance management (APM) technology.
NEXVU's application performance management system, along with NEXVU's Professional Services offerings, provide tangible, quantifiable results that enable organizations to improve service, minimize risk, reduce costs and increase the value of their computing environments through the continuous real-time monitoring of application performance, availability and end-user experience.
The NEXVU solution delivered through the Continental Resources (CRI) partnership enables companies to monitor how their IT environments are utilized and how well services are being delivered.
"The CRI-NEXVU strategic alliance will give companies a much clearer view of application usability from the perspectives of their end users," said Dan Lefelstein, executive vice president of sales operations of NEXVU Technologies. "We are grateful to be working with Continental Resources, a company that has a long track record of success in helping companies align their technology investments with business goals to get proven results."
CRI and NEXVU offer accurate and detailed profiles of application usage to improve effectiveness, usability and efficiency. This, in turn, reduces the time employees waste with their own application problems, which can jeopardize servicing their own customers. With the NEXVU system, companies can troubleshoot application problems well before they become a major crisis.
Bedford, Mass.-based Continental Resources is a full-service value-added reseller of systems and networking technologies, including solutions from Sun Microsystems and Cisco Systems.
"Our partnership with NEXVU Technologies gives our customers a deeply informative view of application performance by monitoring usage in real time," said Kevin McCann, vice president at Continental Resources. "As more and more companies make the most of scant IT resources, we will be in a better position with NEXVU to offer them products that deliver real, measurable business value."
