rehearsals.com, CenterStaging's (OTCBB:CNSC) online digital portal powered by MLB.com, has announced that it has provided exclusive high-definition digital production for NBC's innovative interactive digital media competition, StarTomorrow. The competition, the first to be produced by a major television network specifically as an original internet series, will feature up to 100 nationwide bands and performers with Grammy-winning producer David Foster serving as an executive producer and judge along with celebrity guest judges. As one of the production partners, CenterStaging's High-Definition digital studio captured the show's weekly streaming broadcasts at StarTomorrow's website, enabling viewers to vote for their favorite group as they compete for the opportunity to win a development deal with a label distributed by Warner Music Group.
rehearsals.com will launch their involvement with StarTomorrow at 8 p.m. EST on July 31, when NBC airs a primetime TV special documenting the show's multifaceted, behind-the-scenes audition process. The inaugural telecast will direct viewers to StarTomorrow.com for their online votes, followed by the showing of weekly streaming performances that will detail the competition through to its exciting finale.
"This production alliance with David Broome, 25/7 and his NBC 'StarTomorrow' team gives us the opportunity to do what we do best and promote the development of aspiring young musical artists all at the same time," Johnny Caswell, Co-Founder & President of CenterStaging said. "Our High-Definition rehearsals.com studios are perfectly suited for this challenge and we are proud to be a part of this exciting endeavor."
"Teaming up with CenterStaging's rehearsals.com has allowed StarTomorrow's production to be on the cutting edge of technology by using their robotic High-Definition cameras and studios," David Broome, StarTomorrow Executive Producer said. "Working with the rehearsals.com team is a great match because it has afforded the casting special and online series a unique look at content you haven't seen anywhere else."
rehearsals.com will also stream its own additional exclusive footage of the behind the scenes moments with the bands as they battle their way through the various stages of the dynamic contest. This specially selected series of videos will begin streaming on rehearsals.com on Monday, July 31st.
