Search Industry Gathers for Search Engine Strategies (SES) Conference & Expo 2006 Kickoff in San Jose; Google CEO Schmidt Session Slated for August 9th

The search industry converges en masse in San Jose this week for Search Engine Strategies (SES) Conference & Expo, which kicks off today. Marked by 25% growth in exhibiting companies, the premier search industry event -- one in a series of global conferences -- runs August 7-10, 2006, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, San Jose, CA. Several thousand marketers are in attendance to glean the latest insights from experts and colleagues alike in the fast-changing search industry. Social search, click fraud and demographic targeting will be among the topics featured at the popular conference, capped off by a session with Google CEO Eric Schmidt later in the week.
"A Conversation with Eric Schmidt" is scheduled for 10-10:45am on Wednesday, August 9th. SES chair Danny Sullivan plans to talk with Schmidt about Google's growth alongside the challenges and issues in search for a company of Google's stature.
