MyE Networks Launches Community Guide Video Listing Service Utilizing ESPRE Solutions eViewMedia(TM) Engine SDK

PLANO, Texas, Aug. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ESPRE Solutions, Inc. , a Dallas-based media solutions and technology company with a revolutionary and patented video compression technology, today announced that MyE Networks has launched a second video application using the ESPRE eViewMedia(TM) Engine SDK. And, as stated in the license agreement that MyE Networks signed with ESPRE Solutions on February 16, 2006, ESPRE will benefit from a revenue split on advertising revenue built around this new product offering and from subscription-based revenues.
On August 3, 2006, MyE Networks announced the release of its first video offering, myeviewmail.com, using ESPRE's Java-based video SDK, eViewMedia Engine. Myeviewmail.com, a robust video email solution, provides extremely sophisticated tools compared to standard web-based video email applications. Yesterday, MyE Networks released the product to its subscriber base of nearly 2 million users.
Today's release is the second product announcement from MyE Networks using ESPRE's technology. In the second application, MyE Networks launched a Community Guide Video Listing Service. MyE Networks' Community Guide allows subscribers to customize the MyE Network portal to suit their interests. Subscribers are able to single out their preferred listings, select movie theaters closest to where they live, choose news and weather that they wish to receive and much more in the form of personalized content. And, now these subscribers can view streaming video messages from MyE Networks advertisers pertaining to products and services in which subscribers have an interest.
Pete Ianace, President and CEO of ESPRE Solutions, states, "Everyone knows that nothing gets a message across quite as effectively as video. And now with a higher penetration of users with high-speed Internet connections, it is possible for companies to deliver their message using video over the Internet. MyE Networks has done a fabulous job implementing a solution using ESPRE's eViewMedia Engine SDK and we believe their solution is likely to become a benchmark for delivering online video ads. Furthermore, the release last week of MyE Networks' myeviewmail.com solution and today's release show significant support for ESPRE's licensing model with MyE Networks and other licensees of ESPRE's SDKs. Therefore, ESPRE expects to benefit through a reoccurring revenue stream from subscriptions and advertising built around these two product releases."
"When considering a video advertising solution for our advertisers and our audience of school-aged influencers, it was important for MyE Networks to deliver video ads that were the highest quality possible. ESPRE's media engine provided MyE Networks with TV-quality video and the ability to stream content at varying bandwidths without a loss in quality level. Therefore, with this release, we are able to ensure our advertisers that their message would not be distorted or misrepresented. Furthermore, because ESPRE's video is never cached or stored on the hard-drive, a level of security is also incorporated in this offering. As a result, MyE Networks can protect our advertisers against online video piracy," states Greg Jablonski, CEO of MyE Networks.
