AccountMate Software Corporation recently announced that it has launched its upgraded accounting software products, AccountMate 7 for SQL and AccountMate 7 for Express, using Microsoft(R) SQL Server(TM) 2005. These products have earned AccountMate Front Runner status from Microsoft Corporation. AccountMate's version 7 products in combination with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 assure customers robust financial management backed up by Microsoft's latest server technology.
Pradeep Rathinam, Microsoft's general manager of U.S. ISV Strategy in the U.S. Partner Group, says, "The Front Runner program was designed to provide our partners with the best development environment possible and give them the technical tools they need to be successful over the long term."
AccountMate recognized in developing their AccountMate 7 products that SQL Server 2005 is the next-generation data management and analysis software that would help deliver increased scalability, availability and security to their enterprise data and analytical applications while making them easier to create, deploy and manage. This SQL Server 2005 was a natural choice for AccountMate as it continues to find ways to assure that its products meet the heavy transaction handling required by many of its customers. Its powerful inventory management functionality helps customers meet stringent margin requirements and enables them to do extraordinary things like track their serialized inventory.
"AccountMate is excited to support SQL Server 2005. It's a great platform," said Tommy Tan, Chief Technology Officer of AccountMate. "Achieving Front Runner status enables us to deliver applications to customers within the same timeframe as the launch of SQL Server 2005. As a result of the AccountMate 7 solution we have developed, we are uniquely positioned to help our customers get the most from their technology investment."
This upgraded AccountMate 7 for SQL automates critical new processes such as landed cost accrual and allocation and adds an enhanced payroll module. With its secure password policy additions, it assures that customers can meet recommended settings for Sarbanes-Oxley.
AccountMate Software Corporation is a recognized leader in the accounting software arena. Consistent and substantial product upgrades such as this recent release of AccountMate 7 for SQL and Express exemplify the commitment of AccountMate to offer world-class business software.
