SureWest Expands Voice and Internet Services to Roughly 10,000 Businesses in Sacramento

ROSEVILLE, Calif., Aug. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Leading independent telecommunications holding company SureWest Communications announced today that it is expanding its voice and Internet services to roughly 10,000 businesses in the Sacramento metropolitan area.

The voice and Internet products will be delivered over SureWest's Internet Protocol (IP) network utilizing dynamic bandwidth allocation and circuit bonding over Type II T1 circuits to provide:
-- Voice services ranging from phone lines with unlimited regional and nationwide calling to high capacity Primary Rate Interface service -- T1 Internet access with speeds of up to 3 Mbps for both uploading and downloading
