Globecomm Systems Awarded Infrastructure Contracts for a Foreign Government Military Agency and a Major U.S. Broadcaster Valued at $2.1 Million

Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM), a global provider of end-to-end satellite-based communications solutions, today announced that it has been awarded multiple infrastructure contracts valued at $2.1 million for a foreign government military agency and a major U.S. broadcaster.
The first contract, an amendment to an existing contract with the customer, is for the expansion of an existing network for a foreign government military agency. This contract is scheduled for completion in the Company's fiscal third quarter ending March 31, 2007.
Pursuant to the second contract, which is scheduled for completion in the Company's fiscal second quarter ending December 31, 2006, Globecomm will provide a premier U.S. broadcaster with two earth stations, related subsystems and one year of field maintenance. The installation is for the continued expansion of the customer's existing major broadcast network.
