AT&T Advances Global Networking Technology for Briggs & Stratton Corporation

MILWAUKEE, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AT&T Inc. today announced a three-year global networking contract with Briggs & Stratton Corporation, the world's largest producer of air-cooled gasoline engines for outdoor power equipment.
The contract renews an existing agreement that includes long distance, Internet, teleconferencing and domestic data services as well as managed international data service and increased networking capacity.
AT&T's global networking solution offers Briggs & Stratton Corporation competitive pricing across all services as well as a simple and convenient process for provisioning and maintenance. In addition, the increased speed and capacity of the network enables the company to economically and efficiently support real-time engineering and business process collaboration globally.
Through the award-winning, secure AT&T BusinessDirect(R) portal, Briggs & Stratton Corporation will have full access to network account information and time-saving online tools to monitor network performance, manage the network, and review and pay bills.
