Arrow Electronics Has EMC CLARiiON AX100 Networked Storage System Up and Running in Solutions Lab

Arrow Enterprise Storage Solutions (AESS), a division of the North American Computer Products group of Arrow Electronics Inc. (NYSE:ARW) and the #1 value-added distributor of enterprise storage for EMC Corp., today announced that the new EMC CLARiiON AX100 networked storage system is fully tested and running in Arrow's interactive, hands-on Enterprise Solutions Lab.

The core EMC CLARiiON CX line, as well as EMC's NS700G and Centera offerings, are located in Arrow's Enterprise Solutions Labs where Arrow resellers may work with the systems in person or remotely using Arrow's Lab Bridge support service. Lab Bridge offers Internet-based conferencing with integrated data and audio in an interactive environment, allowing products like the new CLARiiON AX100 to be tested remotely from any reseller or end-user location so that solution providers and their customers make the best purchasing decision for their businesses.

The CLARiiON AX100 was designed specifically to help solution providers migrate their customers from internal, server-based disk storage to external Storage Area Network (SAN) or Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems. The simplified configuration and management gives solution providers an entry point for the development of SAN and NAS solutions for small to medium (SMB) customers.
