The new Dippin’ Dots store is located in the Haskell Canyon Plaza in Saugus.
The Hillers will celebrate the grand opening of their new location on Saturday, Aug. 26 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Activities will include rock climbing, face painting, Henna Tattoos, an obstacle course bouncer, contests, raffles, prizes and $1.00 every cup of Dippin’ Dots.
The Saugus store offers two-dozen flavors of Dippin’ Dots(R) ice cream, sherbet, yogurt and ice. In addition, the new location will feature Dot Delicacies(TM), a line of products which includes Dippin’ Dots(R) ice cream cakes and Dotwich(TM) ice cream sandwiches.
In November 2004, the Hillers opened their first Dippin’ Dots store in Velencia.
“We found that many of our customers were driving from Saugus to Velencia just to get Dippin’ Dots,” John said. “Velencia is a great area and we already had a customer base in that area, so we decided to open our second store there.”
In addition to operating two Dippin’ Dots stores, the Hillers also work with school, civic and community groups on fundraising projects. Both locations offer Dippin’ Dots Party Packs and catering.
