NTT Software to Jointly Develop Mobile Messaging Products for Japan Market With Vuico

Tokyo, Japan - Sept. 2, 2002 - (JCN Newswire) - NTT Software announced August 30 that it has signed an agreement with Vuico of Texas to jointly localize GoWireless, the US company`s mobile messaging product lineup.
Based on BLUEGRID, the communications middleware product developed by NTT Software which provides distributed object capabilities to Java-enabled cellphones and other mobile devices, GoWireless collaborates with Microsoft Exchange Server and Lotus Notes/Domino to allow business users to access office groupware and business systems from Java-enabled cellphones from anywhere in the world.
NTT Software plans to release a localized version as early as November and market it to corporate users and systems integrators.
In order to help the US company have GoWireless support CRM (customer relationship management) and SFA (sales force automation) solutions, NTT Software invested $300,000 in Vuico on August 30.
