The mission of the board is to provide guidance and insights to the Acusis Advanced Technology team.
The board members are world-renowned leaders in their fields:
-- Kathleen R. McKeown, a Professor of Computer Science at Columbia University, conducting research in text summarization, natural language generation, multi-media explanation, digital libraries, concept to speech generation and natural language interfaces;
-- Bill Benter, a Chairman & International CEO of Acusis and a high-technology entrepreneur, is a recognized expert in applied mathematical modeling, probability theory and statistical analysis;
-- Roni Rosenfeld, a Professor of Language Technologies, Machine Learning and Computer Science at the School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University, whose research includes statistical language modeling, human-machine speech communication, machine learning, speech recognition, and computational molecular biology;
-- Richard Stern, a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, leading research programs including spoken language systems, robust speech recognition and auditory perception.
