Providence Presbyterian Church Announces 2006-2007 Inaugural Concert Season Opening With the U.S. Army Chorus September 17; Renowned Musical Performers and Artists Create Impressive Lineup of Concerts

Providence Presbyterian Church, a church where life and faith connect, today announced its 2006-2007 inaugural concert season. The Music and Arts Committee will open the series on Sunday, September 17 with a performance by the United States Army Chorus. (This concert is free; however, seating is limited and advance tickets are required.)
In addition to the U.S. Army Chorus event, the 2006-2007 series includes:
-- November 5, 2006: An Evening of Chamber Music with Amy Butler and friends
-- January 7, 2007: A dramatic portrayal of the Gospel of John by Brad Sherrill
-- February 11, 2007: An evening of Love Songs and Love duets from Opera and Musical Theater with Linda Kiemel - soprano, Tricia Lepofsky - mezzo-soprano, Antonio Giuliano - tenor, and Kerry Wilkerson - baritone
-- April 22, 2007: Concert Pianist Thomas Pandolfi
Season tickets include free priority seating tickets for all performances. The series will be held in the church sanctuary featuring wonderful acoustics. All concerts are planned for Sunday evenings at 6:00 P.M. and will be followed by a reception including refreshments and a time to meet the performers.

"The Music and Arts Committee has assembled a wonderful lineup of talent and we are excited to offer these professional concerts to the Fairfax Community."
Adult season tickets can be purchased for $100.00. Student season tickets can be purchased for $40.00. Individual tickets are also available.
