Comcast Appoints John Morabito Senior Director/Policy Counsel, Federal Government Affairs

PHILADELPHIA, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Corporation today announced that John Morabito is joining the company as Senior Director/Policy Counsel, Federal Government Affairs in Washington, DC. He will serve as one of Comcast's senior lobbyists focused on Congress and the Administration beginning on June 21st.
Morabito currently serves as Vice President-Regulatory and Legislative Affairs, Qwest Communications International Inc., where he has been responsible for advocating Qwest's public policy positions before the FCC, Congress, and the Administration. Before that, Morabito served as Attorney and Vice President-Federal Affairs, Global Crossing, and as Counsel, Committee on Commerce, U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to that, he served in a number of positions in the Common Carrier Bureau of the FCC.
