Everdream to Host Brocade's Desktop Management Services Through Extended Multi-Year Contract

FREMONT, Calif., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Everdream Corporation, the leader in managed desktop IT services, announced that Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. , an Everdream customer since 2001, has signed a new multi-year agreement with Everdream extending all services. Everdream provides Brocade with secure online data backup, asset tracking and patch management, offering their IT team increased management control and better protection for their desktop and mobile systems.
Desktop and mobile PC users at Brocade can easily and regularly backup their data using Everdream's secure online backup system. This means their data can be quickly restored in the event of a problem -- even if the user is at a remote location.
Adding PatchControl (TM), Everdream's new patch management offering, allows for push-button deployment, essential patch status reporting, remote policy management and deployment log reporting. These enhanced features and reporting capabilities give administrators advanced control when directing their patch management solution.
Additionally, the Everdream Control Center allows Brocade IT people to easily track both hardware and software assets. Not only do they know where their assets are, but they can also determine what they have so they don't overspend on application licenses and can efficiently plan upgrade strategies.
Through the Everdream Control Center, Brocade has access to a hosted, easy to use IT management console that provides a single-source suite of integrated services.
