Magneti Marelli Gets Virtual Network From AT&T

AT&T has been awarded a three-year $250,000 contract to supply auto parts manufacturer Magneti Marelli Controle Motor with enhanced virtual private network services connecting Magneti Marelli's locations in Brazil and the US.
Magneti Marelli Controle Motor is a subsidiary of Magneti Marelli Holding, a designer and manufacturer of high-tech automotive parts with a roster of customers that includes some of the world's major car manufacturers.
Under the terms of this agreement, AT&T will provide virtual network services based on internet protocol virtual private network to connect Magneti Marelli's industrial and R&D locations in Brazil and the US.
The enhanced virtual private network will allow for robust deployment of applications like voice over IP, or VoIP, and other mission-critical applications over the customer corporate network, with real-time access from offices in Brazil and the US.
The integrated network will deliver a high level of security and support to Magneti Marelli's business continuity processes, protecting its services and applications from any contingency or disaster.
