Networking and telecom expert will help Chicago area organizations plan, integrate, and manage new technology additions
With reports from analyst firms such as Forrester and IDC indicating the first increase in technology spending in three years, Relational Technology Services (RTS), the technology arm of Relational Funding Corporation (RFC), today announced it had expanded its staff. Pete Milano has been named a National Accounts Manager for the Chicago metro area, where he will provide organizations with assistance on improving their networking and telecom systems.
RTS is a comprehensive technology solutions company that offers clients comprehensive planning, installation, integration, training, and troubleshooting. As an Avaya Platinum BusinessPartner, RTS has been recognized for its better than 85 percent customer satisfaction rating as well as the high percentage of engineers and technical experts who have earned the designation of "Avaya Certified Specialist." The company also brings this level of dedication to the technology solutions it provides from industry leaders such as IBM, Dell, Sun Microsystems, HP, Cisco, Hitachi, and Veritas.
Mr. Milano will be responsible for business development in the Chicago metro area. He holds current sales certification from both Cisco and Avaya, and is well-versed in other technologies RTS offers as well. He joins the company after four years as a Senior Account Manager with Expanets, a telecom services provider that was recently acquired by Avaya. He also spent four years in sales with Lucent Technologies, where he exceeded his sales quotas each year and earned Achiever's Club status. Mr. Milano began his career in the financial industry as a Treasury Management Analyst for Comerica Bank, then as a Treasury Management Sales Officer for ABN-AMRO. This background will help him contribute to the IT portfolio management performed for all RFC clients.
"While organizations are starting to purchase more technology, their approach is different this time around," says John Babcock, Director of RTS. "They want to see the business case, and they want hard numbers to make sure their IT investments are aligned with their business goals. RTS has the knowledge, full service capabilities, and flexibility to help them see both. With the financial resources available through RFC and Pete Milano's expertise with both the business and technology issues, RTS will help them take an intelligent approach to improving their networking and telecom systems performance."
