Posted on: Tuesday, 12 September 2006, 09:00 CDT
NetQoS(R) Inc., a provider of network performance management products and services for Global 2000 enterprises, announced an agreement to supply AIG Technologies, Inc., an American International Group, Inc. (AIG) member company, with worldwide use of its ReporterAnalyzer(TM) network traffic analysis product and services.
"ReporterAnalyzer provides 100 percent visibility into global network traffic to provide large organizations like AIG Technologies the ability to both improve the delivery of applications to end users worldwide and to make more informed network infrastructure investment decisions," said Scott Sherwood, NetQoS vice president of worldwide sales. "With ReporterAnalyzer, AIG is getting a proven product that can be used to better respond to network and application performance problems, plan for growth, and streamline bandwidth allocations. To facilitate network performance management on a worldwide basis, ReporterAnalyzer provides a centralized view into the entire global network and also offers distributed views for regional network managers."
ReporterAnalyzer is designed to handle the volume of flow data typical in the world's largest networks, providing real-time visibility into enterprise-wide network traffic and one year's access to detailed data. ReporterAnalyzer captures a rich set of traffic statistics from Cisco IOS(R) NetFlow or other IPFIX-enabled routers and switches to identify which applications and users are consuming bandwidth, and when. With this data, organizations can make sound decisions in troubleshooting and capacity planning, whether investigating traffic congestion at a remote site in an MPLS network or rolling out a new application enterprisewide.

ReporterAnalyzer is a module of the NetQoS Performance Center, a management portal that provides global visibility, via a single Web console, into all three key metrics necessary to quantify network infrastructure performance: end-to-end application response time, traffic flows and device performance. The NetQoS Performance Center's customized views help organizations be more effective in capacity planning, troubleshooting, and service level management.
