ADOBE Systems Inc has unveiled a suite of digital video solutions called Adobe Video Collection for Windows. Targeted at the professional and high-end consumer market, the software suite consists of four applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Encore DVD.
''This is the first time we're coming out with a complete digital video editing solution with the inclusion of Adobe Audition and Adobe Encore DVD. All four solutions can be integrated with each other, thus making it possible for users to produce full-scale digital video, complete with sound and interactive language,'' says Craig Tegel, director, Asia-Pacific, for Adobe Systems Pty Ltd.
''Before this, our users have to rely on third-party solutions to come up with complete digital video production, and we've taken the initiative by acquiring related companies for technologies to make our digital video solution complete,'' he adds.
With the Adobe Video Collection, Tegel says users can effectively put their audio and visual ideas into motion for professional results for film, DVD, or the Internet.
He says even though the solutions are targeted at the professional level like production or broadcasting companies, they are simple enough to be used by average users, with features like drag-and-drop.
