Google and Apple in Video Talks
September 18, 2006
Google and Apple are reportedly in talks regarding the use of video content for Apple’s iTV set-top box.
The iTV device lets viewers watch video content stored on a computer or TV screen, via a wireless technology set-top box.
Google may supply the video clips for the player, which will hit stores next year for $299.
Apple’s aim with this launch is to promote people to download films rather than buy DVDs for a standalone player.
