Abaca and Coyote Point Systems Form Technology Alliance to Provide First High-Availability Spam Protection Solution With 99-Percent Filtration Guarantee

Abaca, the only management-free spam and virus blocking provider with a 99-percent performance guarantee, and Coyote Point Systems, the performance and value leader in server load balancing and application traffic management, announced a technology alliance to certify and deliver a high-availability, spam-free Email solution.

The Abaca Email Protection Gateway HA is a certified technology bundle that combines Abaca's Email Protection Gateway with an Equalizer Series entry-level load balancing appliance. Abaca will offer the bundle to its partner network. Coyote Point will introduce Abaca to its global distribution partners and solution providers. As part of Coyote Point's Technology Alliance program, the two companies will jointly certify interoperability of the Abaca Email Protection Gateway and Equalizer Series components.

In the combined solution, a Coyote Point E250si load balancer will connect up to four Abaca Email Protection Gateway (EPG) appliances to provide high availability. Through the built-in failover capabilities of the Coyote Point load balancer, system administrators can add and remove EPG appliances without service interruptions. The combined units will be sold under the EPG HA (High Availability) product line and are available immediately.
