IQPC is Now Accepting Nominations for the 2007 Content Week IBIC Awards

NEW YORK, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Content Week 2007 Awards Committee is seeking nominations for the "Best in Class" Intranet and Internet. The awards will be presented at a luncheon ceremony on Wednesday, January 31st during the 6th Annual Content Week Conference, which will take place Monday, January 29, 2007 through Friday, February 2, 2007 at the Hilton Del Mar in San Diego, CA.
The 6th Annual Content Week conference provides attendees with an unbiased and current understanding of content management technologies, trends, and best practices from the most experienced and respected experts in the field. This Conference will feature over 30 technology experts and enterprises that have already successfully deployed content technology. They can get you started, help you make vendor choices, benchmark your progress, and make strategic decisions.
This year's program includes information about: * Business Applications of WEB 2.0 Wikis, Tagging, Blogs, Content Management, RSS * Aligning E-Learning and Performance Metrics for Successful Online Collaboration * Trends towards Content Virtualization * Regulatory Compliance for Records Management Plus there will be: * Live Demonstrations on the New Technologies for Organizing Content * Discussions on Internationalization
The IBIC Awards (Internet/Intranet Best in Class Awards) honor, recognize and promote the best Internet and Intranet over the past year. They are intended to showcase applications and designs and the winners will set the standards of excellence for other Intranet and Internet professionals.
Applications will be taken for each of the following categories: - Best In Class Intranet - Best In Class Internet
The application deadline is October 21, 2006 and the entry fee is $149. Finalists will be notified in early January and winners will be announced at the Awards Reception to be held on January 31, 2007 in conjunction with Content Week 2007.
