U.S. Hip-hop artist Kurtis Blow and Holy Hip-Hop Music have teamed up to form a Christian-oriented record label.
Music Ministry Recordings will reach out to a market that Blow told the Web site AllHipHop.com consisted of young people who love God but do not like to go to church.
The label's first project is slated for release next spring and will be produced as part of an agreement among Blow, Holy Hip-Hop and EMI Gospel.
