National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Recognizes Clear Channel Radio With Four Marconi Radio Awards

Clear Channel Radio (NYSE:CCU) today announced that three of its stations and a syndicated radio program received 2006 National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Radio Awards, which recognize the industry's outstanding talent and stations in 21 categories. Among the winners were Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold, whose syndicated program "The Bob and Tom Radio Show" was honored with its fifth Marconi last night.

Clear Channel Radio took home the following trophies:

-- Network Syndicated Personality of the Year - "The Bob and Tom Radio Show," Premiere Radio Networks

-- Oldies Station of the Year - WMJI-FM, Cleveland, OH

-- Rock Station of the Year - WEBN-FM, Cincinnati, OH

-- Urban Station of the Year - WGCI-FM, Chicago, IL

Winners were announced last evening at the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show held in conjunction with The NAB Radio Show in Dallas. An independent task force chose the finalists and sent ballots in July to members of the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Selection Academy who voted for the winners in all categories.
