Philadelphia Station Tops Radio Awards

Philadelphia radio station WBEB-FM has been honored at the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Radio Awards as this year's Legendary Station.
In a news release the NAB said that at its annual Marconi Radio Awards Dinner in Los Angeles Thursday, WBEB-FM was recognized for its excellence in the radio community.
The annual event was held in conjunction with The NAB Radio Show in Dallas. This year's ceremonies were emceed by Emmis Communications' Power 106 radio personality, Big Boy.
Bob and Tom of Premiere Radio Networks were named Network Syndicated Personality of the Year, and San Francisco's KGO-AM was honored as Major Market Station and News/Talk Station.
