MTV Networks of New York has announced plans to buy video game maker Harmonix Music Systems Inc. for $175 million in cash.
Harmonix of Cambridge, Mass., is the creator of the Guitar Hero video game, one of the most popular selling titles for Playstation 2, the Boston Herald reported Saturday.
