InStranet Secures $4M From European Venture Capital Firm Add Partners to Further Capitalize on International Growth

Posted on: Tuesday, 22 June 2004, 06:00 CDT

InStranet, Inc., leader in content and knowledge-based applications for customer service organizations, today announced that it has secured additional financing in the amount of $4 million, in a round lead by European technology venture capital firm Add Partners.

InStranet provides turnkey business applications that increase the efficiency and quality of service in sales and marketing channels (such as call centers, points of sale, distributors, and field sales), across a wide range of industries. The applications guide users in real time to the right product, service, and procedural information in context with the customer interaction. In addition, InStranet provides out of the box analytics to determine information effectiveness on the field. This allows managers greater visibility to determine, for example, if the field sales organization needs specific additional training or which promotion has gained the best traction with customers.

InStranet's corporate customers already include leaders from a wide range of industry sectors including: 3M, AXA, BNP Paribas, France Telecom, Manpower, Mitsubishi, Orange, Penske Truck Leasing, and Zurich North America. Worldwide partners include Aspect Communications, BEA Systems, Genesys, IBM, Oracle, and Sun Microsystems.

"InStranet has demonstrated exemplary technology and market vision. They have very quickly secured the customer contracts and partnerships to support an aggressive drive into the fast growing customer service knowledge base applications market," says Sebastien de Lafond, Managing Partner, Add Partners.

"We've already received excellent validation of our technology and market understanding from our customers - all leading players in their industries," says Alex Dayon, Chief Executive Officer of InStranet, Inc. "Now, with financial, strategic, and operational support from Add Partners we expect to see our expansion in Europe, North American and Asia accelerated to a broader group of corporate customers looking to improve sales channel efficiency and quality of service."
