Sun-Times News Group Launches MeeVee's Advanced Television Programming Search and Personalization Service on the STNG Online Network

Posted on: Wednesday, 27 September 2006, 12:00 CDT

MeeVee (www.meevee.com), the premier

developer of personalized video entertainment search and discovery

experiences for consumers on the Internet, today announced a syndication

agreement with the just-launched Sun-Times News Group ("STNG")

Online Network. Under the agreement, visitors to any of the STNG Online

sites, including www.suntimes.com,

can access a personalized TV programming guide and search experience

based on MeeVee's patented technologies. The

MeeVee-powered service is live today at www.suntimes.meevee.com.

Visitors that click on the MeeVee experience within the STNG sites will

see video clips of TV programs and can search for local TV programming

in real-time, by keyword, program, actor, or topic. In addition, MeeVee

allows visitors to create a personalized guide and will add new programs

to their guide based on visitors' interests.

Another unique feature is MeeVee's Internet TV

directory and player, which allows visitors to browse for, and watch,

the latest in Internet TV channels, without leaving the STNG Network.

Fred Lebolt, Vice President of New Media for STNG, said, "MeeVee

is an outstanding entertainment information service. The combination of

its local television listings with the broad video content access it

offers dramatically enhances the entertainment offering for visitors to

all of our sites and makes our Network an even more valuable source of

information."

The addition of MeeVee to the STNG Online Network reflects STNG's

objective of continually making the experience for the visitors to its

sites more engaging and interactive. STNG's

news websites, which serve 120 communities across Chicago, attract an

average 3.6 million unique visits per month. With the addition of

MeeVee, both the STNG Network and MeeVee will be positioned to further

increase advertising revenue.

"MeeVee is particularly delighted to announce

this latest syndication partnership," said

Michael Raneri, CEO of MeeVee. "Working with

the Sun-Times News Group further demonstrates how the MeeVee

experience continues to be valued as an asset, especially to a site such

as suntimes.com, which is already widely recognized for its

award-winning content and services, and to the whole STNG Online Network."

MeeVee offers its syndicated service for any content site seeking to

offer its visitors a more robust TV listings and video search

experience. For more information on MeeVee or to learn more about
