Bright Path Solutions and Publishing Smarter Announce Merger

Posted on: Thursday, 28 September 2006, 00:00 CDT

North Carolina-based Bright Path Solutions (www.travelthepath.com) today announced it has entered into a merger agreement with Ontario-based Publishing Smarter (www.publishingsmarter.com). The two firms specialize in consulting, training and developing professional publishing solutions for content-heavy clients in the technology, manufacturing, retail, defense, aerospace, financial and pharmaceutical industries. The explosion of digital content and the various streams of delivery make the new business a natural partnership combining resources to provide a single source for customers to turn to.

"Bright Path and Publishing Smarter have collaborated for years," said Kay Ethier of Bright Path. "This provided both of our firms and our clients tremendous benefits. Formally merging both companies is a logical step. It just makes good business sense."

"We found ourselves competing for the very same contracts," said Bernard Aschwanden, President of Publishing Smarter. "Therefore, it makes sense to formalize this relationship and bring the best of both businesses to our combined client base. This positions the new Bright Path as one of the industry's most experienced publishing services organization."
