Posted on: Thursday, 24 June 2004, 06:00 CDT
SEATTLE, Wash., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- PennWell Corporation's Affinity Publishing Division and 365 Media announced an agreement under which Affinity Publishing will market and 365 Media will host an online partner directory solution based on 365 Media's Solis(TM) platform. Called Solis Partner Directory, the solution provides a partner-driven database-publishing approach to acquiring, managing, and presenting online information about resellers, ISVs, strategic alliances, OEMs and other technology partners.
Solis Partner Directory enables partners to maximize the value of their online presence with product descriptions, compatibility data, certifications, and contact information, as well as downloadable PDF documents, video, and other content types. In addition to category, partner type, vertical industry, key word and other search criteria, partners can be located based on zip code proximity, complete with maps for each location.
Each Solis Partner Directory features a custom web front-end that matches the look and feel of the client web site. Online marketing enhancements such as preferential search result treatment, boxed listings and banner ads are supported, as is automated print publishing.
From initial partner application to ongoing updates, partners enter and update their own information. Browser-based directory administration tools facilitate review and approval of new or updated partner entries. Even reminding partners to update their profile is made easier with automated email capabilities. Optionally, directory administration can be outsourced to Affinity Publishing.
