Taiwanese Telecom Firm to Market CosmoCom Call-Center Software

Chunghwa Telecom Co. Ltd. Data Communications Branch (CHT-D), a Taiwanese provider of data communications services, is offering its customers a hosted call-center service based on the software of Melville-based CosmoCom.
The Asia-Pacific region is a growing market in the contact center space, and CHT-D is joining a group of organizations that have launched Contact Center On-Demand solutions to meet this market's needs, said Ari Sonesh, chief executive of CosmoCom's, which recently has added Korea Telecom and PLDT of the Philippines to its roster of clients.
