Mall Networks, the company that connects top online retailers to the universe of consumer rewards programs, today announced Kristyn Golier has joined the company's management team as Vice President of Merchant Development. Kristyn will assume a major role in managing Mall Networks' strategic relationships with online retailers and affiliate retailers.
Kristyn joins two of the leading experts in the e-commerce industry. Mall Networks founder and CEO, Dave Andre was the founding CTO at Upromise, and before that was Vice President of Engineering at Lycos. Kimathi Marangu, Mall Networks' EVP of Business Development, was Vice President and GM e-commerce of Schoolpop, the largest online school fundraising company that rewards shoppers by donating rebates to their school of choice.
Kristyn joins Mall Networks after several years at Upromise (now part of Sallie Mae), the largest coalition loyalty program in the United States. As Director of Online Shopping at Upromise, Kristyn managed the company's online mall and helped to increase the mall's revenues by more than 400 percent. Kristyn strengthened relationships with many of Upromise's key online merchants, including JCPenney.com, Lands' EndTM, Sears.com, Target.com and Walmart.com by developing new revenue generating programs for these merchants that helped significantly increase web site traffic and transaction volumes. As a result, Online Shopping became one the largest and fastest revenue generators for Upromise.
"Kristyn Golier is a strategic hire for Mall Networks," said Andre. "She brings nearly a decade of affiliate marketing experience to our company and our clients. At Upromise, Kristyn forged successful loyalty rewards programs with several of the world's top consumer brands and online retailers and helped to significantly increase traffic and transactional revenue for these blue-chip merchant funded rewards programs."
Prior to Upromise, Kristyn was responsible for e-commerce at Schoolpop. Kristyn significantly enhanced and expanded Schoolpop's online merchant partnerships through direct mail and other innovative consumer marketing programs.
