Direct Energy - US Home Services Installs Time Warner Telecom's MPLS Solution for Voice and Data Network

DAYTON, Ohio, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Time Warner Telecom Inc. , a leading provider of managed voice and data networking solutions for businesses, today announced the successful installation of a 10-state, 23 location MPLS network for Direct Energy - US Home Services, a national provider of heating, air conditioning and plumbing services.

Time Warner Telecom's MPLS network solution provides Direct Energy - US Home Services with fast, scalable and reliable last mile connectivity to replace the company's existing frame relay network infrastructure. Specifically, Time Warner Telecom's MPLS VPN solution connects Direct Energy's headquarters with its 23 satellite locations across 10 states, providing the company with a scalable network that is fully-integrated and easy to manage.

In addition, Time Warner Telecom is deploying Ethernet Internet Services at Direct Energy Home Services Dayton headquarters and IP voice services to support the company's voice requirements.
