PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Jake of "Body by Jake" and founder of ExerciseTV, today announced the launch of "America's Next Fitness Star," (ANFS) a nationwide search for the country's next fitness celebrity. The contest is open to all those who believe they have the energy and personality to inspire millions of viewers to get in shape. The winner will receive a one- year paid contract with ExerciseTV, the leading free video-on-demand fitness and sports training network, to appear in an upcoming original "Star Trainers" series and receive a year's worth of New Balance footwear and apparel. On October 19, Jake will give New Englanders the chance to show their stuff when he hosts an open casting call for the ANFS competition in Boston, MA. From 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Jake will be there, in person, to give hopeful contestants the chance of a lifetime to make a positive difference in million's of peoples lives.
ExerciseTV is a new multi-platform television network dedicated to fitness, motivation and sports training and is designed exclusively for video- on-demand and emerging media platforms, including the Internet at http://www.exercisetv.tv/.
