Arsenal Digital Solutions, a leading provider of data protection services, today announced the expansion of its executive team with the appointment of Brian Reagan as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. In this role, the former EMC and MCI executive will oversee all marketing functions, including long-range strategy, offer and channel marketing, communications, and demand generation.
"Brian joins Arsenal at a pivotal time in the company's history, a period marked by an increase in channel partners and expansion into the small-medium business and consumer markets," said Frank Brick, chairman and CEO of Arsenal Digital Solutions. "Brian's experiences at EMC and MCI made him the ideal choice to help position the company for even greater growth."
"During my tenure at EMC, I had the opportunity to analyze the information protection market and the companies in it," said Brian Reagan. "The market is beginning a period of tremendous growth and I am very excited to be with a leading company in this space. I look forward to working with Arsenal's management team to help take the company to the next level."
Reagan joins Arsenal after eight years in senior-level strategy and marketing positions at EMC Corporation. Most recently, his role included planning and developing new market strategies, including M&A, for EMC's $1 billion professional services business unit. During that time, Reagan was an active participant in EMC's CTO Council, providing critical market insights that influenced technology roadmaps and investments, particularly in the area of Business Continuity. Separately, Reagan orchestrated the global marketing launch of the Symmetrix DMX, as well as the first focused campaign to penetrate the mid-market. He also helped establish EMC's global online presence through the development of the first integrated customer and partner communications portal and the subsequent launch of the company's first e-commerce engine.
Prior to EMC, Reagan held senior management positions at MCI Telecommunications, leading online product development and hosting for a variety of internal and external clients. He began his career in IT consulting, focused on database and data management applications, serving clients primarily in the financial services, pharmaceutical and government sectors.
Reagan earned a B.A. from Bennington College in Biological Sciences and a Masters in Business Administration from George Mason University.
