Leviton Manufacturing Company Extends Contract With AT&T for Voice, Data and Networking Services Worth $2 Million

LITTLE NECK, N.Y., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AT&T Inc. today announced a three-year contract extension worth more than $2 million. AT&T will provide integrated voice, data and network services to The Leviton Manufacturing Company. Leviton, with more than 30 facilities worldwide in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Asia Pacific, is a leading North American producer of electrical and electronic wiring devices and manufacturer of voice and data solutions.

Leviton's manufacturing operations will be supported by AT&T Business Network (ABN), a fully integrated voice and data networking solution custom- designed to improve efficiencies, optimize costs and maximize flexibility. AT&T will provide a portfolio of local and long distance voice and data services, creating a wide-area network that links all of Leviton's domestic and global locations. AT&T will also provide high speed Internet connectivity to support Leviton's IP applications, including video. The contract allows for seamless expansion as Leviton's telecommunications needs grow and evolve.

In addition, AT&T will provide Network Integration Services for Leviton. Working with pre-selected vendors, a dedicated team of network strategists, engineers, and project managers from AT&T will select and install the hardware and software required to build Leviton's network.
