Hitachi Data Systems Showcases Virtualization and Tiered Storage at Storage Networking World Fall 2006 Conference

Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, the leading provider of Application Optimized Storage™ solutions and a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT), today unveiled its plans for Storage Networking World Fall 2006. In addition to demonstrating its industry-leading controller-based virtualization solutions, Hitachi Data Systems will also showcase real-world end-user implementations for deploying and managing an optimized tiered-storage environment.

Three Hitachi Data Systems executives will also be presenting at the conference on Wednesday, November 1 from 2:10 -- 2:55 p.m. Eastern.

Hitachi Data Systems will also demonstrate its advanced storage management and data management capabilities including, the Hitachi Content Archive Platform, in the Storage Networking World Interoperability Lab.
