Inclusion on the Forbes annual list requires companies to meet a series of financial benchmarks, including a share price above $5.00, annual sales between $5 million and $750 million, three month average share volume above 10,000 or more per day, profit margin greater than 5% and positive sales and profit growth on average over the last five years and 12 months.
