PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — BroadRelay Holdings today announced agreements with three of the most highly-regarded producers of Chinese-language programming — Tai Seng Entertainment, Shanghai Media Group and China International TV Corp. — who, together, will provide more than 1,000 hours of programming for its SIVOO(TM) property, the first Internet TV network and a leader in multicultural on-demand entertainment programming (http://www.sivoo.com/).

Under the terms of the agreements, SIVOO will offer 650 hours of entertainment and lifestyle television programming from Shanghai Media Group, 28 hours of top-rated shows from China International TV Corp., including the popular "Club" series, plus 200 films from Tai Seng Entertainment. All programming will be available on a pay-per-view basis through any Web browser. Alternatively, consumers can choose to view ad-supported television programming free of charge.

"We are extremely excited about the growth and potential of the Internet TV market," said Burhan Fatah, Ph.D., SIVOO’s founder, president and chief executive officer. "Independent research firm e-Marketer, in a just-released study, predicted that online video advertising spending will grow to $2.35 billion by 2010, up from $385 million in 2006. We see a tremendous opportunity for SIVOO as well as our programming and advertising partners. Further, we are pleased to be working with such quality partners as Tai Seng Entertainment, Shanghai Media Group and China International TV Corp."

Poised for Substantial Growth

The predicted growth of spending on online video advertising by research firm e-Marketer(1) signals a significant revenue opportunity for Web publishers. As more and more consumers turn online to view content, advertisers will be able to target tightly defined audience groups in new and innovative ways. According to Jupiter Research, 1 in 10 consumers is already watching television programming on a computer and that level is certain to grow. With 21,000 hours of Chinese- and Spanish-language content available, and plans to add Hindi-language content, the SIVOO Internet TV network presents a real opportunity for advertising campaigns aimed at some of the most attractive consumer segments in the United States.
