Titanize: 1-Click Personal Content Manager Launched
Posted on: Tuesday, 31 October 2006, 06:00 CST
SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Opelin, Inc. announced today the launch of Titanize, a personal content manager whose unique integration of the PC and Internet provides 0-click and 1-click ease for users to protect, access, sync, share and publish their files.
After three years of development to seamlessly consolidate five typically separate services into one integrated product, Titanize is available for a 30-day free trial at http://www.titanize.com/ , and is also powering local backup and archive in some of security software leader McAfee's latest consumer products.
0- and 1-click world
Upon launch, Titanize performs 0-click Backup, automatically encrypting and backing up the user's files to a secure internet location. The user doesn't have to manually move files to an internet drive or location. If a user loses the computer, the drive, or any files, with 1-click Restore all missing files will be returned to their original folders.
Titanize lets users access and search their backed-up files in their original folder names and hierarchy from any Internet connection by simply logging onto http://www.titanize.com/ , freeing them from the burden of emailing files to themselves, or carrying their laptops on client calls, business trips, or vacations.
Users can sync files among their computers with 1-click Sync, eliminating the need to use CDs or thumb drives to transfer files, and the hassle of remembering which files have changed. A user can easily sync files from a work computer with a PC at home, or across multiple computers in the same location.
Titanize lets the user easily share large files instantly via the Internet, and with 0-click Auto-update, recipients automatically receive updates if the sender later edits the files.
Titanize also offers 1-click Publish; letting users instantly post their files directly to the Web for public availability, without the need for a blog, website, or online profile.
Proven technology
Titanize currently powers local back-up and restore for a CD, DVD, or hard drive in the latest consumer products from McAfee(C) -- PC Protection Plus(TM), Internet Security Suite(TM), and Total Protection(TM).
"We're excited to launch the full Titanize product," commented Dave Kleinberg, CEO of Opelin, Inc. "Users shouldn't have to use multiple products to protect, access and share their content. For the price of a cup of coffee a month, people should simply Titanize their files," he said.
Titanize subscriptions start at $5 per month ($60/yr) for 5GB of space. For more information, visit http://www.titanize.com/ .
