Topio Data Protection Suite Certified to Support Cisco's MDS 9000 Series

Topio, Inc. (www.topio.com), the leading provider of software for enterprise-class data replication, recovery and continuous data sharing, today announced that its Topio Data Protection Suite(TM) 3.0 (TDPS) has been officially certified by Cisco(R) for its MDS 9000 Storage Services Module and is the only solution to offer support for large-scale implementations, load balancing and enterprise-consistent recovery.

The requirement for dependable data recovery has created a demand for backup systems that can truly protect valuable business information while providing immediate access to the copy in event of a system failure. The integration of TDPS 3.0 with Cisco's MDS 9000 provides a high performance data supply from multiple replicating nodes in the storage area network (SAN).
