RSA Security Provides Identity and Access Management to Microsoft SharePoint(R) Products and Technologies

BEDFORD, Mass., July 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RSA Security Inc. today announced plans to provide web single sign-on through the integration of RSA ClearTrust(R) web access management software with Microsoft(R) SharePoint(R) Products and Technologies. The planned integration of RSA ClearTrust software with these Microsoft solutions is designed to allow customers to move seamlessly and efficiently between numerous online applications and domains, and provide enhanced security, including role-based privileges for secure web access, as well as integration with RSA SecurID(R) two-factor authentication solution for access from any terminal or workstation.

Microsoft(R) Office SharePoint(R) Portal Server 2003 provides enterprises with an intelligent, extensible portal that seamlessly connects people, teams, knowledge, and applications so that people can take advantage of relevant information across business processes to help them work more efficiently. SharePoint Portal Server 2003 provides an enterprise business solution that integrates information from various systems into one solution through enterprise application integration capabilities, with flexible deployment options and management tools. Microsoft Windows(R) SharePoint(R) Services provides organizations with a scalable, manageable, platform that allows teams to create web sites for information sharing and document collaboration, benefits that help increase individual and team productivity. The integration of RSA ClearTrust software with SharePoint Products and Technologies will be available later this quarter.
