A Kansas City area businessman has been charged with possession of child pornography allegedly found on his company-issued laptop.
Ronald E. Elmquist, 60, president and CEO of QualServ Corp., a manufacturer and distributor of food-service equipment, was ordered held under $100,000 bond.
Clay County authorities said Elmquist's computer contained images of various sex acts involving teenage and prepubescent girls, the Kansas City Star reported.
Authorities said the images were found by a company technician after Elmquist complained about computer spyware and pop-up ads.
