OVERLAND PARK, Kan., July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Fry Inc., a leading e- commerce design, development and managed services provider based in Ann Arbor, Mich., has selected Sprint to provide IP bandwidth services, audio conferencing and online-presentation capabilities for the firm. "We were looking for a communications provider that could not only provide us with affordable IP access, but one that is stable and could offer new technologies to us as our needs grow," said Matt Heaton, director of managed services at Fry. "We believe Sprint was the right choice for our company, providing robust SLAs and the technical expertise needed for Fry to better serve its clients. We also believe the Sprint audio and Web conferencing tools will allow us greater collaborative abilities with customers nationwide and between our three offices in Ann Arbor, Chicago and New York."

Fry designs, builds, hosts, and manages Web applications for clients in the retail, financial, automotive, broadcasting and consumer packaged goods sectors.

Sprint operates one of the world's few Tier-1 IP networks and in June set a new record for bandwidth throughput, sending live customer traffic over a 40-Gigabit per second (Gbps) connection, four times the industry's current 10 Gbps operating standard. Business and consumer broadband applications such as VoIP, HDTV and multicasting are the drivers for ever-increasing bandwidth. Customers like Fry, whose businesses depend on high-capacity Internet connectivity, will be the eventual beneficiaries of this advancement as Sprint's network is upgraded.

Sprint offers a host of integrated technology solutions for businesses of all sizes, including local, long-distance, wireless and data services. To learn more, visit http://www.sprint.com/business .
