Bivio Networks:
WHO:
Darrell L. Burkey, vice president of marketing for NFR Security, Inc., the leader in Real-Time Threat Protection™, and Greg Kopchinski, senior product manager for Bivio Networks, the leader in high-speed network appliance platforms for deep-packet-processing applications, will present a Webinar on "Policy-Centric Network Security: New Applications and Platforms for Real-Time Network Protection."
Burkey has over 20 years experience in leadership positions in the IT industry in software start-ups and public software companies. His experience with Sterling Software, Systems Center, VM Software, and SAGA Systems has given him direct experience in the unique requirements of enterprise-class software, specifically systems management and network security. He is a graduate of the University of Akron with a BS degree in computer science.
Kopchinski is responsible for the direction of Bivio's product line, including the company's flagship Bivio 2000 network appliance. He has a strong background in product management and marketing for embedded computer technologies with several companies, including Motorola, Force Computers, Captus Networks, and Ziatech (acquired by Intel). He is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a BSEE.
WHAT:
Learn how two industry partners Bivio Networks and NFR Security team up to deliver policy-centric network security by leveraging high speed programmable and scalable network appliances with true in line, real time, network protection software. Deploying firewalls and VPNs helps protect the network, but such security countermeasures alone are not enough. Attackers mask traffic so it cannot be detected by traditional firewalls, and they exploit known network vulnerabilities.
This Webinar examines how network intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS) -- policy-centric applications that require deep packet inspection and processing -- are now mandatory tools to provide maximum network security.
The one-hour presentation will cover the following topics:
The easy-to-implement, high-speed network security tools necessary for securing your network
Effective network security technology that defends your perimeter by identifying and preventing attacks before they occur
How to protect your core by detecting insider attacks and critical vulnerabilities
Network security solutions that shield critical assets from inevitable attacks
