TicketLiquidator.Com Announces Consumer Ticket Exchange

Posted on: Wednesday, 15 November 2006, 09:00 CST

TicketLiquidator.com, the leading source for the most comprehensive selection of tickets at the lowest prices, today announced the introduction of its consumer ticket exchange, an online resource which enables consumer ticket holders to sell tickets directly to other consumers for concerts, theater, and sporting events.

"Ticketholders have several advantages when selling their tickets on TicketLiquidator.com," said Don Vaccaro, CEO, TicketLiquidator.com. "From a cost perspective, sellers will make more of a profit from the sale of each ticket without paying extra listing or insertion fees. Sellers will also benefit from the extensive web exposure our consumer ticket exchange provides not only on TicketLiquidator.com but on the websites of our partners and affiliates as well. It's the cheapest, easiest way to reach millions of ticket shoppers online," added Vaccaro.

"This is an important step for us," Vaccaro noted. "In the past most of our inventory has been provided by ticket brokers in the regular business of buying and reselling tickets. Our industry is growing dramatically. We decided the time had finally come to serve the peer-to-peer market for ticket sales with a product that was cheaper for sellers and safer for buyers than existing business models."

Lower listing fees

TicketLiquidator.com charges ticket sellers 10% of the listing price per ticket, as compared to 15% on other industry sites. In addition to lower fees being charged for ticket sales, TicketLiquidator.com does not charge listing or insertion fees. Fees are only accrued when tickets sales are finalized.

Extensive Web Exposure, Quicker Sale

Tickets listed on TicketLiquidator.com will realize more exposure and traffic with real-time posting on hundreds of additional partner websites, including TicketLiquidator.com, the second most popular ticket resale site online.

Highest Standard of Fraud Protection

TicketLiquidator.com has developed an industry-leading ticket sale system to prevent consumer fraud. Customer information is carefully reviewed and validated by customer service representatives. In addition, new sellers on the system will ship their tickets to TicketLiquidator.com for review before tickets are resent to retail customers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We purchased 3 tickets to Phantom of the Opera for a total of $754.44. When they arrived we found that the actual cost for each fo the 3 tickets was only $78.00, this included a $3.00 service charge. When we attempted to contact them via Ticket Liquidator and the other name they go by, "Ticket Netowrk" regarding the over charges of $208.00 per tickets plus an additional $38.48 per ticket plus $15.00 shipping, they would not reply. Only after the show did they reply and this was only to ask how we liked the show. When questioned regarding the obscene mark up, they claim that it is their policy to only put the cost that their customer have requested. They would not reimburse, nor even acknowledge any unethical or wrong doing of their business practices. So, if you don't mind paying over 200% what the actual price is, the use them. But if you want to get a fair and honest deal, forget this company and use Ticket Master. I sure learned my lesson the hard way and I have put in a reporrt of the same with both the KS and MO BBB regarding their business partices.
