Think Computer Products & Digi-Data Corporation Join Forces in Master Reseller Agreement

IRVINE, Calif., July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Digi-Data Corporation of Columbia, Maryland and Think Computer Products of Irvine, California announced the completion of a Master Reseller Agreement. The agreement enables Think Computer Products to provide customers throughout the world with Digi-Data's STORM(R) Storage Family of high-performance storage solutions as part of the company's integrated Think Storage Solutions(TM).

Digi-Data Corporation's STORM(R) Family of storage solutions is comprised of both the integrated STORM(R) Storage Systems (STORM Xata, STORM Xact, STORM Xtreme & STORM Xtreme -- HA), and the actual STORM components used to create the highly optimized integrated STORM solutions. The component "building blocks" include STORM(R) RAID Controllers, STORM(R) Fibre Channel and SATA Disk Enclosures; RAID RECON, an intuitive GUI-based RAID management software; and XapShot, a simple, flexible data replication application. The STORM Family provides high-performance, flexible, scaleable, cost-effective solutions and advanced technologies that support everything from small workgroups to the most stringent of high-I/O, massive-scale enterprise application environments.

The key features that separate Digi-Data Corporation's solutions from the ever-crowded storage market include the ability to scale from single, high-performance fibre channel and SATA-RAID boxes, to full-scale 200+ Terabyte systems ideal for HA (High-Availability) online and near-line storage solutions. The STORM "HA-Factor" provides some of the word's fastest storage I/O for access to mountains of data, while protecting the data in a secure and redundant platform.

Think Computer Products is in the process of integrating Digi-Data's STORM(R) solutions with Think CP brand products, and other products manufactured by the Think CP's other solution partners. Among some of the ThinkCP partner products incorporated in the integrated solutions are Texas Memory Systems solid state disk technologies and Qlogic SAN solutions.
