US Unwired Selects Corio Applications on Demand(TM)
SAN CARLOS, Calif., July 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Corio, Inc. (http://www.corio.com/press ), a leading enterprise application service provider, today announced that US Unwired has chosen Corio Applications on Demand(TM). US Unwired is already a Corio Onsite(TM) customer and will also deploy Corio Applications on Demand(TM) to upgrade its ERP applications.

US Unwired is a network partner of Sprint with the exclusive right to provide PCS services under the Sprint(R) and Sprint PCS(R) brand names in all or portions of 14 states with a population of approximately 17.6 million residents. US Unwired, one of the largest PCS Affiliates of Sprint, services over 650,000 customers.
US Unwired has chosen the Corio Onsite(TM) delivery model enabling them to leverage their existing data center and infrastructure assets. US Unwired will deploy Corio Applications on Demand(TM) at their own site, and application services will be administered 24 x 7 through Corio’s global network of Application Management Centers (AMC). In addition, Corio will upgrade US Unwired’s tier-one enterprise applications to current release levels.
Corio Applications on Demand(TM) is a service that delivers enterprise applications from leading software vendors. Customers gain improved operational efficiency, ‘pay-as-you-go’ economics, and high reliability backed by service level guarantees. The Corio Applications on Demand(TM) platform and the Corio Onsite(TM) delivery model are available for a monthly fee.
