XandMail Provides and Integrates Its Messaging Software to Alcatel's Voice Messaging Services (VMS) and Video Mail Box (VMX) Platforms

PARIS, November 30 /PRNewswire/ -- XandMail, the communication solutions provider today announced it was chosen by Alcatel (Paris: CGEP.PA AND NYSE: ALA) for the provision and integration of its e-mail software to Alcatel's Voice Messaging Services (VMS) and Video Mail Box (VMX) platforms.

An option in Alcatel's VMS and VMX messaging offers, XandMail technology lets VMS and VMX customers manage all their messages and personal information (greetings, contacts and events) from any terminal connected to the Internet in Web, WAP or i-Mode.

XandMail's technology will also enable Alcatel's VMS and VMX users to benefit from email messaging, an address book and a calendar. They will thus be able to receive, compose and send messages (email, voice mail, video mail, fax, SMS) from the new interface XandMail has designed.

Alcatel selected XandMail's Web 2.0 Communication and Mobile Communication Solutions after a rigorous and objective evaluation process; the enhanced functionality, the ergonomic, feature-rich interface and the multi-device access ranked high among the criteria Alcatel considered when choosing new providers to enrich their video and voice messaging platforms.
