OK Go Exclusive Interview on Broadjam.Com

Posted on: Tuesday, 5 December 2006, 12:00 CST

Broadjam.com, one of the world's largest independent music websites, announced today that it has begun streaming an exclusive four-part video interview series featuring pop-rock icons OK Go.

OK Go catapulted to the forefront of the indie rock music scene with a pair of homemade videos that became viral internet sensations on social networking sites such as MySpace and YouTube. The band also recently performed the dance routine from their famous "treadmill video" for the song "Here It Goes Again" on the MTV Video Music Awards.

"OK Go is an exciting band and has done a great job promoting themselves on the web," said Roy Elkins, Founder and CEO of Broadjam Inc. "We are thrilled to host OK Go's interview on Broadjam. Our members and OK Go fans will benefit greatly from the band's insights on how to take advantage of new media distribution channels."

Part one of the interview, hosted by David Elliot Johnson of Local Show Live - Worldwide, debuted on Broadjam TV's LSL channel on Monday, December 4th. The remaining segments will be released over the next three weeks.

"Making OK Go the premier interview for the launch of our channel was an obvious choice based upon their grassroots and guerilla marketing successes," said David Johnson, founder of Local Show Live. "In an industry now driven in large measure by a band's ability to propel its own fan base momentum, Damian Kulash of OK Go is the perfect example of an artist on the pulse of music's future."
